The Flow-6 is available as a flow meter and flow controller with 4, 6 or 8 circuits. The flow rate is measured contactlessly using ultrasonic technology. In the controller variant, flow control is implemented via stepper motors, which enable precise and independent control of the individual circuits. The temperature is measured with a resistance thermometer.

The integrated evaluation electronics processes the measured values, digitizes them and transmits them to a connected Interface Server Gate-6 with display or a Thermo-6 temperature control unit. Communication takes place via an Ethernet interface. The data can be forwarded with reduced information content (defined via the protocol) to the machine control system or to a higher-level control system.

Flow-6 as a flow meter (HB-FM)

When used as a flow meter, the Flow-6 is used exclusively to monitoring the individual temperature control circuits. The current flow rate and temperature of the temperature control medium are recorded per circuit and made available for process monitoring.

Flow-6 as a flow controller (HB-FR)
