Ethernet

The interface provides an OPC UA server. A client is required for communication. This can either be integrated in PC software (e.g. OPC UA Browser) or in a machine control system. Data is exchanged either directly between the machine control and the Thermo-6 temperature control unit or via the Interface Server Gate-6.

NOTE!

Shielded Category 5 or higher cable must be used for Ethernet connections. These cable are available from standard retailers.

USB

Connection for software updates and for transferring unit data.

NOTE!

A USB type A disk with a single partition and the FAT, FAT32, exFAT, or ext2/3/4 file systems is supported. These USB data carriers are available at standard retailers.

HB CAN intern

HB-Therm CAN data interface for connection flowmeters Flow-5 or Power supply powering the Gate-6 interface server.

Alarm and external control (ZB)

The temperature control unit can be connected to the machine control system and controlled via potential-free contacts.

Functions of the potential-free changeover contact:

  • Reading the alarm status
  • Switch on and switch off
  • Switch between two setpoints (Set temperature 1 and 2)
