The control parameter are automatically optimized when the temperature control circuit changes or the control behavior is inadequate. The aim is a stable control behavior with the following features:

  • Low deviation between set value and actual value
  • No overflows in the event of faults
  • Quick adjustment

Manual setting is normally not necessary.

NOTE!

The temperature may fluctuate during automatic optimization. The "AT" (Auto-Tuning) symbol appears on the basic screen. If the heating capacity or cooling capacity is not sufficient, optimization is canceled after 15 minutes at the latest.

The control parameter are set manual by the operator. In this way, the Controller can be specifically adapted to a specific application. If the application changes (such as temperature, flow rate, or control loop), it may be necessary to setting the control parameter settings again.

NOTE!

With this setting, there is no automatic auto-tuning. Manual setting requires appropriate control knowledge.

The control parameter are automatically adjusted after auto-tuning. If the application changes (e.g. Temperature, flow rate, or control loop), auto-tuning is automatically carried out again.

manual perform auto-tuning

In exceptional cases, when the control behavior is not satisfactory, manual auto-tuning may be useful. The operator can start optimization in a targeted manner in order to improve the control parameter.

  1. On the basic screen, tap on the profile button
  2. Select [User Profile] and set it to "Maintenance".
  3. On the home basic screen, tap the menu button
  4. Select [Setting] > [Temperature Control] > [auto-tuning ]
  5. Tap on the start symbol to start the process
