Required material

  • Beer-6 connection set (T29362)
  • CO2 bottle including pressure reducer
  • Collecting container with a capacity of approx. 3—5 liters
  • Food-grade cleaning agent (required for monthly cleaning with frequent use)

procedure

ATTENTION!

Working with the unit requires knowledge of the safety instructions and quick guide. That's why:

Read the safety instructions and quick guide carefully before starting any work. The basic requirement for safe work is compliance with all safety instructions and careful action by qualified qualified personnel to prevent accidents involving personal injury and property damage.

construction (Fig.)

  • Connect the tap (1) to the OUT connection (beer output) of the unit.
  • Connect the IN connection (beer inlet) of the unit and the tap head (2) to the beer hose line (4).
  • Connect the pressure reducer (3) to the CO2 bottle.
  • Connect the pressure reducer (3) and the tap head (2) to the CO2 flexible tube (5).
  • Fill the cleaning container with lukewarm tap water.
  • Make sure that all pipe connections are correctly installed before the spigot (2) is attached to the cleaning tank.
  • Connect the tap head (2) to the cleaning container.
  • Open CO2 valve.
  • Adjust the gas pressure (approx. 1.5 bar) using the pressure adjustment screw (6) of the pressure reducer (3). Then check whether CO2 pressure remains stable.
→ If necessary, pull the safety valve ring briefly to display the correct value on the pressure gauge.

cleaning

ATTENTION!

During cleaning, the unit must be disconnected from the power supply!

  • Switch off the green toggle switch on the back of the device and disconnect the power supply cable.
  • Place the container under the tap (1) and pull the tap completely forward (open).
Rinse the circuit until only clear water flows out of the tap. As a result, beverage residues and contaminants are rinsed out.
When dry cleaning, please let the cleaning agent work for 20 minutes beforehand.
  • As soon as only clear water flows out of the tap, put the tap back in the middle position (close).

Conclusion

  • Empty the cleaning container.
  • Completely blow out the system circuit with compressed CO2 air.
  • Close the CO2 valve.
  • Remove and clean the tap (1).
→ Completely unscrew the side lever and clean individual components (pins, housing).
  • Disassemble the remaining connections
  • Use a cleaning cloth or water vacuum to remove or vacuum residual water from the IN and OUT (beer inlet/outlet) connections of the unit.
