Operator's responsibility

The unit is intended for commercial use. The operator of the unit is therefore subject to legal obligations regarding occupational safety. Safety, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations must be complied with for the applicable area of use of the unit. The following applies:

  • The operator must inform himself about the applicable occupational safety regulations at the place of use. Detect additional hazards in a risk assessment that result from the special working conditions at the place where the unit is used. He must implement these in the form of operating instructions for operation the unit.
  • During the entire period of use of the unit, the operator must check whether the operating instructions he has prepared comply with the current state of the regulations and adapt them if necessary.
  • The operator must clearly regulate and define the responsibilities for installation, command, maintenance and cleaning.
  • The operator must ensure that all employees who handle the unit have read and understood these instructions, in particular the safety instructions/brief quick guide. In addition, he must train staff at regular intervals and inform them about the risks.
  • The operator must provide personnel with the necessary protective equipment.

Furthermore, the operator is responsible for ensuring that the unit is always in perfect technical condition. The following applies:

  • The operator must ensure that the maintenance intervals described in these instructions are observed.
  • The operator must have all safety devices checked regularly for functionality and completeness.

Personnel qualification

The trained person was instructed by the operator about the tasks assigned to him and possible risks in the event of improper conduct.

On the basis of their professional training, knowledge and experience, the specialist qualified personnel must carry out the tasks assigned to them and identify and avoid potential risks independently.

  • Electricians

As a result of their professional training, knowledge and experience, specialist electrical personnel are able to carry out work on electrical systems and to identify and avoid potential risks independently. The electricians are trained for the specific location in which they work and are familiar with the relevant standards and regulations.

  • Hydraulic specialists

Thanks to their professional training, knowledge and experience, hydraulic specialists are able to carry out work on hydraulic systems and to identify and avoid potential hazards independently.
