Responsibility of the operator

The unit is intended for commercial use. The operator of the unit is therefore subject to legal obligations regarding occupational safety. Safety, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations must be complied with for the valid area of use of the unit. The following applies:

  • The operator must find out about the applicable occupational safety regulations at the site of use. Detect additional risks in a risk assessment resulting from the special working conditions at the site where the unit is used. He must implement these in the form of operating instructions for operation the unit.
  • During the entire operating life of the unit, the operator must check whether the operating instructions issued by him comply with the current state of the regulations and adapt them if necessary.
  • The operator must clearly regulate and define responsibilities for installation, command, maintenance and cleaning.
  • The operator must ensure that all employees who handle the unit have read and understood these instructions, in particular the safety instructions/brief quick guide. In addition, he must train staff at regular intervals and inform them about the dangers.
  • The operator must provide personnel with the necessary protective equipment.

Furthermore, the operator is responsible for ensuring that the unit is always in perfect technical condition. The following applies:

  • The operator must ensure that the maintenance intervals described in these instructions are observed.
  • The operator must have all safety devices regularly checked for functionality and completeness

Staff qualification

All work on the unit must be carried out by qualified personnel.

The trained person was instructed by the operator about the tasks assigned to him and possible risks in the event of improper behavior.

On the basis of their professional training, knowledge and experience, the specialist qualified personnel must carry out the work assigned to them and be able to identify and avoid possible risks independently.

The electrical specialists are trained for the specific location in which they work and are familiar with the relevant standards and regulations.
