The Main line, Return line and external temperatures as well as the flow rate have a direct influence on the process and are therefore monitored. In the standard setting, the limit values for process monitoring are determined and set “automatically” after each device is started, in accordance with the set monitoring level.

NOTE!

An active limit value determination is shown by the display icon for the [Reset Monitoring limits] parameter →.

  1. Select [Monitoring] > [Monitoring Type]

  2. Set the parameter to the desired value.

This setting is shown on the basic screen with the monitoring symbol.

Off

There is no monitoring.
Manual

The user determines and sets the limits manual.
Automatically

The unit automatically determines and sets the limits. It is not possible to manually adjust the limit values in this setting.

NOTE!

If the monitoring type act set to “Off,” the process is not monitored. This can lead to poor production.

Monitoring level

The parameter defines how closely the tolerances are calculated and set when limit setting (“automatically” monitoring type or reset monitoring limits).

  1. Select [Monitoring] > [Monitoring Level]

  2. Set the parameter to the desired value.

This setting is shown on the basic screen with the monitoring symbol.

Fine

Tight tolerances for precision parts (minimal) 1,0 K

Middle

Medium tolerances for standard parts with increased requirements (minimal) 5,0 K

Rough

Reset monitoring limits

  1. Select [Monitoring] > [Reset Monitoring Limits]

  2. Tap the play symbol () to start the process.

→ All limit values are automatically recalculated and set during operation depending on the process and according to the monitoring level set ()

NOTE!

Limit values that are not monitored (sliders off ) are not recalculated and set.
