In standby mode, temperature control (heating, cooling) and process monitoring are switched off. No energy is consumed through heating or cooling. In order to save maximum energy, the pump speed is reduced to 1000 min -1 as standard in this operating mode.
This operating mode can be useful, for example, during a production interruption. Whether and how much energy can be saved during an interruption depends on many factors (temperature, duration of interruption, etc.).

NOTE!

It should be noted that the possibility of saving energy in standby mode depends on the requirements and conditions of the respective process application. Therefore, this must be considered individually for each application.
As a result of the temperature control switched off, the process temperature will fall during a process interruption. If the process is started again, it can therefore take longer for the process to run stably again.

Prerequisites

function

When the function is switched on, temperature control (heating, cooling) and process monitoring are switched off. The pump speed is adjusted to the set value of the [set speed Standby] parameter .

  1. Select [Functions] > [Standby Mode].
  2. Use the slider (, ) to turn the function on or off.

Standby speed

In standby mode, the default speed is set to the lowest value of 33%. As a result, the pump consumes less energy.

  1. Select [Setting] > [Miscellaneous] > [Set Speed Standby].
  2. Set the parameter to the desired value.
→ The 100% corresponds to the rated speed. For the speed setting range, see here...
