The cyclical system water exchange ensures that the heat transfer medium in the temperature control unit does not change. The water fed in via the cooling water inlet or system water inlet remains in the heat transfer circuit during operation. Cyclical system water exchange is only recommended when using treated water. If the cyclic system water exchange act switched on, rinsing takes place at the set time interval.

ATTENTION!

Damage due to incorrect setting
If the water quality is poor, the cyclical system water exchange can lead to fouling and scaling. That is why:

  • Only switch on the cyclic system water exchange when the water has been well treated.
  1. Select [Setting] > [Miscellaneous] > [Rinse interval]

  2. Set the parameter to the desired value.
  3. Use the slider (, ) to switch the function on or off.

NOTE!

  • The cyclic system water exchange is switched off as standard.
  • A value set too low can lead to fluctuations in temperature control.
  • For well-treated water, a rinse interval of is recommended. 30 min With this setting and a rinsing time of, the medium in the circuit 0,5 s is replaced in 1–2 days under normal operating conditions.

Duration of rinsing

  1. Select [Setting] > [Miscellaneous] > [Rinsing time]

  2. Set the parameter to the desired value.

NOTE!

  • A value set too high can lead to fluctuations in temperature control.
  • A rinsing time of 0,5 s is recommended.
