The listed maintenance work is required for optimal and trouble-free operation. If signs of increased wear are detected during regular checks, it is necessary to shorten the maintenance intervals in accordance with the actual signs of wear and tear. Maintenance intervals also vary depending on water quality, operating conditions and installation location. For more information or if you have any questions about maintenance work and service intervals, please contact your HB-Therm distributor (www.hb-therm.com).

Safety valve (4)
  • Check that function is working (to do this, the heat transfer medium in the unit must be under increased pressure):
    • Slowly turn on the knurled nut until water escapes through the overflow.
    • If no water escapes, correct function is not guaranteed, clean or replace if necessary
