T28573: Indirect solenoid valve

procedure

Cooling / emptying
- On the basic screen, tap the function button (
). - On the basic screen, tap the function button (
).- The unit cools down and evacuation the mold before switching it off.
Check pressure / switch off
- Select [Display] > [Actual Values] > [System Pressure].
- The system pressure must display 0.0 (±0.1) bar.
- The pressure shown by the pressure gauge must be 0.0 (+0.3) bar.
- Switch off the main switch (QS 1), pull out the mains-connector.
- Remove the cooling water supply (connection C).
Remove covers
Replace spare part

- Remove and remove the mounting nut and washer from the solenoid coil ①.
- Remove the solenoid coil with valve plug ②
- Loosen the mounting screw on the valve plug ③
- Remove the valve plug and seal from the solenoid coil.
- Remove and unscrew the mounting screws from the valve housing cover 4 times ④
- Remove the valve housing cover with valve parts (plunger, compression spring, diaphragm) ⑤.
- Install a new valve body cover with valve parts ⑤
- Make sure the sealing surface is clean and free of debris.
- Install 4x mounting screws from the valve housing cover and tighten ④.
- Transfer the seal from the old magnetic coil to the new one.
- Connect the valve plug to the solenoid coil and secure it with the mounting screw ③.
- Place the solenoid coil with the valve plug on the valve body ②.
- Re-install the mounting nut with the washer and tighten ①
Check tightness / function
- Connect the cooling water supply (connection C).
- Connect the mains-connector and switch on the main switch (QS 1).

Switch on the unit using the I/O button (
), check the tightness and function of the unit.
- A magnetic field tester can be used to check whether the magnetic coil is activated and the valve opens when the valve is actuated.
Switch off / install covers

Switch off the unit using the I/O button (
).- The unit switches off and, if necessary, is cooled and depressurised.
- Re-attach covers from the unit (→ Open unit).
